Active and Passive Vehicle Barriers
Gibraltar provides both active vehicle barriers (AVB) and passive vehicle barriers (PVB). Our active vehicle barriers include the G-2000 Series Active Roadway Barriers, G-3000 Series Vertical Lift Barriers and G-5000 Series Anti-Ram Gates. Our passive vehicle barriers include our G-1000 Series Anti-Ram Bollards and the G-Force Brace & Beam Anti-Ram Crash Fence. Acom's M50 P1 Wedge Barriers are offered in both electric operation or hydraulic operation.
DoS and DoD Certified
Gibraltar's anti-ram vehicle barriers are designed to meet or exceed Department of State (DoS) and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements. Acom's barriers can be found on the USACE DoD Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier List and meet anti-terrorism and force protection (AT/FP) requirements.
Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) Compliant
Gibraltar's anti-terrorist security barriers meet CFATS regulations. CFATS uses a dynamic multi-tiered risk assessment process and requires high risk facilities to meet and maintain performance-based security standards appropriate to risks they face and the possible consequences of inadequate security. DHS chemical security inspectors work in all 50 states to help ensure facilities have security measures in place to meet CFATS requirements.
NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP-014)
Gibraltar's anti-ram barrier systems meet NERC CIP-014 requirements. The NERC CIP-014 standard identifies and protects transmission stations and transmission substations (and their associated primary control centers). A successful physical attack on just one such facility could result in widespread power grid instability, or even uncontrolled failure of regional power systems.
Let Gibraltar provide you with the peace of mind that your facilities, personnel and assets are fully protected by using our security barrier systems.
Gibraltar's active and passive barriers are designed to meet or exceed all HCIS specifications and requirements. Our products are sought by security consultants and integrators requiring cost effective protection for a wide variety of industrial and governmental clients in the Middle East.
